Buckeye Counseling Services

As an ODADAS certified agency, we are able to complete court ordered evaluations for all Municipal and Felony courts in Fairfield and the surrounding counties.

We offer professional services in a private or group setting. Our licensed clinical staff undergo extensive annual training to stay up to date on the latest evidence based practices for treatment alternatives.

Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS) certifies agencies to provide education and treatment services.

The Choices Group
The Choices Group is an open-ended ongoing group that provides education and treatment for those needing substance abuse treatment. The group is designed to enhance the client’s awareness surrounding their behaviors and patterns of use of drugs and alcohol while at the same time integrating a treatment component into the learning structure.

In addition to the educational component, group therapy will help to solidify the concepts learned and establish how a 12 step program can integrate into this change in behavior and supplement the ongoing process from the Choices Group. The Choices group also utilizes the “Thinking for a Change” dynamic which encourages the participants to assess, evaluate and move through the stages of change to effect a positive life outcome.

Addiction Services and Assessments
Buckeye Counseling has been offering services in Lancaster Ohio since October of 2000. We provide to the community, comprehensive assessments of substance abuse for courts and individuals alike. We offer prompt, professional reports sent directly to the referring agency to ensure timely reporting of assessment results.
Assessments can be done in our office or other locations as deemed necessary.
With the understanding that lives do not occur from 9am to 5pm, we offer flexible office hours with evenings and weekends by special arrangement. If you need an alternative time to see a counselor or have an assessment done, just ask.
